Shelagh has been in private practice for the last 15 years, and The Rosewood is honoured to be working with her. In Malaysia, Shelagh practices as a Life Support Coach and adopts a holistic approach to mind health by offering a number of learning methodologies for her patients. These include traditional one-on-one sessions, mindfullness practices, empowerment and self compassion, meditation, and the art of releasing.

Internationally, she has conducted humanitarian work both in training and counselling in Uganda with the NGO: Ride for a Women, in South Africa Shelagh supported people with AIDS and TB, and in Afghanistan she counselled and supported the NGO Women for Women.

In Malaysia, Shelagh has worked with Befriends on the crisis hotline, the Malaysian Cancer Society, All Women’s Action Society of Malaysia, and the UNHCR supporting Myanmar and Afghan refugees.

Shelagh is a member of Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA).
